  • Our free mail packs are prepaid, pre-addressed, and insured for up to $100 by Australia Post with a tracking number. Customers are responsible for obtaining additional insurance for their goods if necessary before sending them to CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA.
  •  CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA holds no responsibility for any loss or damage to a customer’s property during the shipping process.
  •  CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA does not engage in the purchase or transaction of any kind with individuals under the legal age of 18.
  •  The customer assumes complete responsibility for the origin of the items they are offering for sale to CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA.
  •  Any customer suspected of attempting to sell any stolen jewellery to us will be reported to the police immediately.
  •  When selling precious metal(s) to Cash for Gold Australia Pty Ltd, you acknowledge that you are
    doing so exclusively for personal purposes and not on behalf of or as part of any business or business-related entity.
  •  If you are selling precious metals on behalf of or as part of a business, please refer to our Trade Customers section.
  •  To verify their identity, customers must provide a copy of at least one of the following forms of identification:
    – Valid driver’s license
    – Valid passport (including permanent residential address)
    – Health benefit card
    – Health care card
    – Pensioner card
  •  Customers must also provide documentation that confirms their temporary or permanent residential address in Australia if it is not included on their primary documentation. Acceptable
    documentation includes:
    – Utility bill
    – Bank statement
    – Government health/pension card
  •  If the customer is unable to provide proof of their address, their application may not be accepted.
  • If the customer’s primary documentation does not include their permanent residential address, they must submit a copy of one of the following documents:
    – Certificate of Australian Citizenship
    – Marriage Certificate
    – Firearms License
    – Birth Certificate
  •  If the customer accepts the offer made for items sent using the mail pack service, payment will be issued on the same day via electronic funds transfer (EFT). The funds should appear in the customer’s bank account within 24 hours provided that the customer responds before 3pm and it is not a weekend or public holiday.
  •  If a customer who has used the mail pack service is dissatisfied with the amount paid for their jewelry, they must contact CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA within three days from the date of
    payment to cancel the transaction. The customer must then return the full payment before we can send their items back to them.
  •  After 7 days from date of payment, transactions using the mail pack service are final and the items become the property of CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA.
  •  The customer is required to acknowledge and accept that CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA does not compensate for any stones, gems, beading, or diamonds. The payment is solely based on the weight of the gold.
  •  The customer must additionally consent to CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA’s exclusive discretion to melt or resell any purchased items without notifying or seeking consent from the seller after 7 days from the payment date.
  •  The customer must also agree that any offers communicated to them by CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA via email or text message must be acknowledged within 7 days in writing. Failure to respond within 14 days will result in finalization of the transaction and irreversible payment to
    the customer.
  •  In case the customer sends non-gold, silver, or platinum items with no value to CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA and requests their return, the customer is obligated to pay a postage fee of $10.00 to CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA via bank deposit or EFT before the items are returned to them.
  •  CASH FOR GOLD AUSTRALIA reserves the right to return any damaged or opened packages without assuming any liability. We do not provide insurance for your items, and you may choose to purchase insurance at your own discretion. However, we assure proper packaging for safe return of the items to you.
  •  If any loss or damage occurs to your items while in our possession, we will compensate you for one-third of their value, as evidenced by purchase and sale receipts, up to a maximum of one hundred dollars ($100) only.
  •  You acknowledge that we shall not be responsible for any loss or damages exceeding one hundred dollars ($100) only, and you hereby relinquish any claims to seek additional compensation for damages arising from the loss or destruction of your items.
  •  Cash for Gold Australia is not obligated to provide a reason for refusing to purchase any item/s.

  •  By utilizing cashforgoldaustralia.com.au or cash4goldaustralia.com.au sites or by indicating your acceptance or agreement to any of the terms and conditions, you confirm your consent to these terms of use. If you do not consent to these terms of use, you are not authorized to use these sites.
  •  We retain the right to send you electronic mail for the purpose of updating you on changes or additions to these sites, or to inform you about our related products and services. We may disclose information about your site usage but do not collect, sell, trade, or distribute personal information in a manner that would reveal your identity unless legally compelled to do so by local authorities.
  •  You also agree not to copy or utilize any information from these sites for any commercial or non- personal purposes other than conducting business with us.
